MINUTES OF MEETING UNDIP GLOBAL CLASSROOM – Online Visiting Lecturer

The UNDIP GLOBAL CLASSROOM – Online Visiting Lecturer program was successfully conducted online with the topic “Research Methods for Health Administration and Policy: Choosing the Right Approach.” On Friday, 8 May 2026. The event was attended by approximately 70 participants consisting of students, lecturers, researchers, and public health professionals.

The session featured Andini Pramono from Australian National University as the guest lecturer. During the lecture, she delivered a comprehensive presentation on selecting appropriate research methods in the field of health administration and policy. The discussion covered quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method approaches, including their applications, strengths, limitations, and relevance to different research objectives and policy contexts.

The session was moderated by Wulan Kusumastuti HS, who facilitated the discussion in an interactive and engaging manner. Participants actively participated throughout the event, particularly during the question-and-answer session, where various issues related to health policy research and methodological challenges were discussed.

Through this activity, participants were expected to enhance their understanding of research methodologies in health administration and policy, as well as improve their ability to choose suitable research approaches for evidence-based decision making and academic research development.
