Entrepreneur Day 2026: A Place for Faculty of Public Health Universitas Diponegoro’s Students to Showcase Creativity and Innovation

As part of its efforts to support SDG 8, “Decent Work and Economic Growth,” which focuses on encouraging entrepreneurship, the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro, held a three-day Entrepreneur Day week from May 11-13, 2026. The series of activities included an entrepreneurship seminar on Monday, May 11, 2026, inviting Dr. Sutrisno, SKM., MH.Kes., Head of the Semarang City Manpower Office, and Kurnia Probo Handini, Assistant Vice President of Transaction & Funding for Bank Mandiri Semarang Pahlawan Area. At this entrepreneurship seminar, students gained practical experience in the business world, business development, and an understanding of the business incubator and startup ecosystem.

The Entrepreneur Day series also featured product exhibitions from approximately 215 groups of sixth-semester students majoring in Public Health, fourth-semester students majoring in Public Health, and undergraduate students majoring in Occupational Safety and Health. Each day, approximately 70 student booths were available, selling a variety of products, including food, beverages, services, accessories, clothing, and more. This product exhibition also served as an assessment output for the Entrepreneurship course for fourth- and sixth-semester students.

The event ran smoothly, with high enthusiasm from students and the entire Faculty of Public Health (FKM) Undip academic community. It is hoped that this event will foster students’ entrepreneurial spirit and enhance their creativity. (Ekotif BEM FKM UNDIP)
