The Enhancing Quality Education for International University Recognition (EQUITY Project) program is one of the activities of the World Class University (WCU) of Universitas Diponegoro. This activity collaborated with supervisors from the University of Malaysia Sabah, with a high H-Index, to conduct joint guidance. This Joint Supervisor activity was carried out online and offline. Online activities have been carried out in January and February 2026. The supervisor as a partner is Prof. Kamruddin Ahmed BMHRC, University of Malaysia Sabah, which has an H-Index of 30.

The follow-up activity was a visit to UNDIP to conduct a series of activities at FPH UNDIP. The activity was carried out on May 18-20, 2026, with various activities. The main activity is the continuation of joint supervisors for S2 students and S3 students. The students involved in this activity were M. Kamali Zaman, a student of the Doctor of Public Health of FPH UNDIP, Nethi Puspitha Sari and Jessyca Widya Pratiwi, from the Master of Environmental Health UNDIP. The activity was also attended by students from Malaysia who are doing inbound student activities at Universitas Diponegoro, Muhammad Ashraff bin Zurkarnain, Master’s program: Master of Science (Environmental Science), Department of Earth Science and Environment, Faculty of Science and Technology Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.

The series of activities carried out while at FPH UNDIP is a continuation of supervisors for S2 and S3 students. Another activity was a discussion with the Dean and Vice Dean of Academic and Student Affairs and the Vice Dean of FPH Resources. The activity was also carried out to explore the potential for international collaboration with UNDIP Epidemiology and Environmental Health lecturers. The discussion focused on Zoonotic Diseases, which is one of the research focuses of lecturers at FPH UNDIP. The provision of lectures for S1 and S2 students, Environmental Health and Epidemiology, became the end of the joint supervisor activity.

On the occasion of the discussion with the leaders of the FPH, the potential for cooperation with Mr. Egawa who is a liaison for cooperation with the funding of JICA Japan International Cooperation Agency’s projects, an official development assistance agency owned by the Japanese government, was also opened. Another potential is the collaboration that has currently been carried out by the University of Sabah Malaysia, Science and Technology Research Partnership for Sustainable Development (SATREPS), on the Malaria project. The potential for cooperation in research on Malaria – Monkeys around the Ibukota Nusantara (IKN), is a short-term activity that can be followed up. The possible international meeting is the JCC Joint Coordination Committee, which is an annual regular meeting. Follow-up visits are needed to sharpen the series of cooperation, which is a real step for the continuation of cooperation.
