Semarang, August 29, 2025 – The Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro, successfully held a Workshop on Enhancing the Quality of the Indonesian Journal of Health Promotion (JPKI) towards Scopus Indexation on August 27–28, 2025.
The event was officially opened by Prof. Ir. Mursid, M.Si., Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of strengthening journal management quality to ensure that JPKI can compete and gain recognition at the international level.
The workshop featured two distinguished speakers. Dr. Anang Wahyu Sejati, ST, MM (Head of the Center for Promotion and Publication of Community Service Research Outcomes) delivered a presentation on “Guidelines and Strategies for Journals towards Scopus Indexation,” highlighting the need for consistent article quality, strong editorial management, and adherence to publication ethics.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Istadi, ST, MT presented “Evaluation of JPKI’s Preparation Process towards Scopus Indexation,” focusing on international writing standards, involvement of international peer reviewers, and strengthening academic networking as key requirements for achieving global indexation.
This workshop is expected to accelerate JPKI’s progress in achieving Scopus indexation, while also contributing to the advancement of Indonesian scientific publications on the international stage.
