Semarang, March 15, 2025 – The Faculty of Public Health, Diponegoro University (FKM Undip), successfully held a seminar titled Costing in Scaling Up Health Programs on Saturday, March 15, 2025. This event was organized by the Department of Administration and Health Policy at FKM Undip and was attended by academics, healthcare practitioners, and students.
The seminar featured health policy experts and health economists who discussed the importance of cost analysis in expanding health program coverage. During the discussion sessions, speakers highlighted effective and efficient financing strategies to ensure the sustainability of health programs at both national and regional levels.
The Dean of FKM Undip, Dr. Budiyono, S.KM., M.Kes, emphasized in his opening remarks that understanding costing is crucial in supporting evidence-based health policies. “Through this seminar, we hope participants can understand how accurate cost calculations can improve access and effectiveness of health programs,” he stated.
This seminar also served as a platform for students to engage directly with experts and deepen their knowledge of financial aspects in health policy. With the success of this event, FKM Undip remains committed to contributing to the development of better health policies in Indonesia.
