On October 22 and 23, 2024, an ISO surveillance audit was carried out to assess the eligibility of the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification on quality management, 14001:2015 on environmental management and 45001:2018 on occupational safety and health (OSH) management. FKM UNDIP itself has obtained ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 and 45001:2018 certificates on December 13, 2022.
The activity was carried out for 2 days, with an assessment agenda on the first day, and a site visit and results discussion on the second day. The results of the surveillance audit submitted on the second day were grouped into 2 categories, namely observation results and non-conformities results. Based on the observation results, FKM UNDIP was advised to create a comprehensive policy related to Environmental Occupational Health and Safety that was documented and communicated to the entire academic community, document the results of internal audits along with their reporting and follow-ups, make a list of tools in the lab and their calibration periods, conduct coordination meeting for Environmental Occupational Safety and Health carried out periodically following the faculty coordination meeting, as well as several other suggestions or findings. In addition, for findings that fall into the non-conformities category, FKM UNDIP was advised to conduct an analysis and evaluation of the results of internal audits (OSH and environmental inspections) which were communicated internally and externally, and complete the environmental management planning and OSH management documents.
The assessors then concluded that based on the results of the 1st surveillance audit in 2024, FKM UNDIP was declared eligible to maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification on quality management, 14001:2015 on environmental management and 45001:2018 on OSH management. This shows that FKM UNDIP has been able to provide good services and in accordance with quality management, environmental management, and OSH management guidelines.
