The Water Safety Plan (WSP) or Drinking Water Security Plan (RPAM), is defined as an effort to secure drinking water supply, by Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan. The program prioritizes various efforts to protect water sources and prevent pollution of water bodies. “This is carried out by using an analysis and risk management approach to achieve water quality standards that meet the stipulated conditions,” said Syamsul. Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan as one of the operators providing clean water has an interest in all of the efforts needed to ensure the continuity of the availability of raw water from all required aspects. “By involving all levels of stakeholders and Regional Apparatus Organizations within the Malang Regency Government, and other government agencies,” he said.
Syamsul added, there were several important matters related to the Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan RPAM document, including the preparation of the RPAM which is a strategy towards achieving access to proper and safe drinking water. “As well as the concept of risk-based drinking water security carried out by the organizers starting from upstream to downstream security,” he said.
Supporting the implementation of the Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan RPAM Document which will be followed up by the relevant OPD according to their duties, including Bappeda, Cipta Karya Service, Water Resources Office, Health Service, Environment Service, Legal Department and Economic Section.

“Development of SPAM management through asset management Information System management and operational management of SPAM4. Accompanied by Expert Staff from Universitas Diponegoro, Tri Joko, the RPAM document will be released in 2021, and on April 19, 2022 it was socialized in front of the Regional Secretary of Malang Regency as Chair of the Supervisory Board of Perumda Tirta Kanjuruhan, along with the members of the Supervisory Board, several related OPDs.
