Master of Environmental Health has conducted a one-week Visiting Professor activity with distinguished guests Prof Jamal Hisham Hashim, Ph.D (University of Selangor Shah Alam Campus) and Dr Zailina Hashim (University Putra Malaysia). This series of activities began with an opening ceremony, followed by several activities including scientific publication writing workshops, stadium general lectures, field visits to malaria endemic areas, and discussions of collaboration between universities.
One of the Visiting Professor’s activities was a discussion of the potential collaboration between the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro together with Universitas Putra Malaysia and Universitas Selangor Shah Alam Campus. This activity was carried out on the last day, Friday, 3rd May 2024 and was carried out in a hybrid meeting. Hybrid meetings are conducted to accommodate lecturers from Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Selangor Shah Alam Kampus who were not able to be at UNDIP. The meeting was directly led by the Head of the Faculty Senate, Dr. Mateus Sakundarno Adi, M.Sc, Ph.D and was accompanied by the Head of the Master of Environmental Health Study Program, Dr. Ir. Mursid Raharjo, M.Si.
The meeting was started with the introduction of the lecturers followed by the presentation of academic activities at Universiti Putra Malaysia by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, continued by Universiti Selangor Shah Alam Campus by the Faculty of Health Sciences. Both parties agreed to sign a document containing collaboration activities in the academic area.
