MASTER OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH FPH UNDIP STRENGTHENS COOPERATION WITH THE ASSOCIATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH EXPERTS (HAKLI)

The Master of Environmental Health, Faculty of Public Health, strengthens cooperation with the Indonesian Environmental Health Experts Association (HAKLI). This strengthening is to establish cooperation that has been previously carried out. The signing was carried out by Prof. Dr. Budiyono, SKM, M.Kes as the dean of FKM UNDIP, who was accompanied by Dr. Sulistyani, SKM, M.Kes as the head of the Master of Environmental Health (MKL) study program, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Mursid Raharjo, M.Si, as the vice dean for resources. Meanwhile, from HAKLI, represented by Prof. Dr. H. Arif Sumantri, SKM, M.Kes, as the general chairman.

This collaboration is a strategic step for the Master of Environmental Health, especially in Education, Research and Community Service activities. The Education Sector is open to the implementation of Cooperation classes with the Recognition of Past Learning (RPL) system. RPL is being and will be developed for the implementation of S2 education levels, at FPH UNDIP. In community service, opportunities are open for places of service or internship activities in the implementing unit under HAKLI. In the field of research, opportunities are open for cooperation in handling environmental, national and global health issues.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Budiyono, SKM, M.Kes, emphasized the importance of cooperation that must be pioneered by all study programs at FPH UNDIP, both with association partners, industry, and other cooperation partners, in developing networks both nationally and internationally.

This activity was also continued with a public lecture for Master of Environmental Health students and the Environmental Health section, with the theme Environmental Health: Potential and Challenges. This activity will be followed up with other activities for the development of FPH UNDIP and HAKLI.
