SEMARANG – The Research Development and Community Service Unit (UP3) of the Faculty of Public Health, Universitas Diponegoro (FPH UNDIP) continues to play a role in creating a productive and sustainable research climate. This role is carried out through mentoring, facilitation, and strengthening the capacity of lecturers which is carried out on an ongoing basis, including through monitoring and evaluation of research and community service activities carried out every semester. This effort makes UP3 one of the drivers of improving research performance within FPH UNDIP.
The efforts made consistently are reflected in the latest achievements of FPH UNDIP, where 45.59% of lecturers managed to be included in the list of Top 500 Authors of Universitas Diponegoro for the 2020-2025 period. This ranking is compiled based on publication data indexed by Scopus in the last five years and is an indicator of lecturer research productivity at the university level.

The inclusion of almost half of FPH UNDIP lecturers in the list shows that research activities in the faculty are running actively and directed. Various public health topics, ranging from environmental health, occupational safety and health, community nutrition, to disease promotion and prevention, are developed through research that is then published in reputable scientific journals.
For UP3 FPH UNDIP, this achievement is the result of a continuous process. Assistance in the preparation of proposals, facilitation of scientific publications, and strengthening research collaboration networks are part of the strategy in supporting lecturers to continue to work and contribute scientifically.
The impact of research productivity is not only felt in the realm of publication, but also enriches the learning process and strengthens community service activities based on research results. Thus, the research produced by FPH UNDIP’s lecturers has direct relevance to the needs and problems of public health.

In the future, UP3 FPH UNDIP is committed to continuing to strengthen its role as a driver of research and service. Through continuous support, FPH UNDIP is expected to further contribute to the development of public health science and improve the academic reputation of Universitas Diponegoro at the national and international levels.
